Designed to be used while scuba diving in caves, this product needs to hold a large amount of line and be lighter than the competition while maintaining a level of durability in an environment where it will be subjected to knocks and scrapes on a regular basis.

The product is made with an SLS printer, using sintered PA12 nylon, ensuring that the product stays as light as possible while imparting the level of durability required to survive in it's environment.
Create a locking mechanism that will keep working in an environment where the said mechanism will be exposed to fine sand and silty water.
Design a simple mechanical locking mechanism that is made of a minimum of parts, all of which can be replaced by the end user for almost no cost.
